EmpowerRide Navigator™ is a prescription-based medical mobility device designed for individuals with clinical mobility needs. It is not a retail consumer product and is typically obtained through a clinical evaluation and medical necessity determination. Coverage may be available through Medicaid, Medicare (where applicable), or private insurance when medical necessity criteria are met.

Coverage Process
Clinical Evaluation
A physician, Physical Therapist (PT), or Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates the patient’s mobility and safety needs.
Prescription & LMN
The clinician provides a prescription and documents medical necessity based on functional limitations.
DME Provider Coordination
A qualified Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider submits documentation to insurance.
Insurance Review
Insurance reviews clinical documentation for medical necessity and coverage eligibility.
Authorization & Delivery
Once approved, the device is configured and delivered to the patient.
